While we recommend using the Libro.fm iOS or Android app, it's easy to listen to audiobooks on your computer as well. You can download the zipped folder(s) containing the DRM-free files (MP3s or M4B format) directly to your computer and import these files into your media player of choice. Just follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account and open your Libro.fm audiobook library: https://libro.fm/user/library
- Next to the book you've purchased, click the button labeled "Files," and click to download your preferred file format. To download individual MP3 files for each track of your audiobook, select and download the zip files. To download a single audio file that contains your entire audiobook, choose the M4B option.
- If you've chosen the MP3 format, you will next need to unzip the files to get a folder of audio files.
- On a Mac: The zip files should automatically open and show you a folder with the audio files. If not, just double-click the zip files.
- On Windows: Right-click and select Extract All to get a folder with the audio files.
- Drag and drop the audio files into the audio player of your choice.
If you want to listen on your computer but prefer not to download the files, you can use the Libro.fm web player.
- Go to your Libro.fm library: https://libro.fm/user/library
- Find the audiobook you want to listen to
- Click "Play now"
